Criminal police officer dies after crashing motorcycle

Criminal police officer Cássio Eduardo Maldonado Siqueira, who had just left work, died in an accident on BR-040, in the São Sebastião neighborhood, in Scorein Greater BH, this Wednesday (24).

He was on a motorcycle and, according to the concessionaire responsible for the highway, hit a pole.

In the image, you can see that he was in the left lane, changes to the right and then it goes straight to the pole, until it hits, towards Rio de Janeiro.

He died instantly and the Civil Police were called. The coroner of the Legal Medical Institute (IML) was also called and collected the body.

There was congestion 14 km in traffic. At noon, the Globocop flew over the accident site and traffic flowed normally.

According to State Secretariat of Justice and Public Security (Sejusp), Cássio Eduardo Maldonado Siqueira was assigned to the Ribeirão das Neves I Public-Private Penitentiary Complex and entered the prison system in 2009. The employee left behind a son. In a statement, the department regretted what happened.
