Two trucks collided in a traffic accident this Wednesday (24) on BR-174, in Pacaraima, north of Roraima. One of the drivers, aged 52, had to receive medical attention at the municipal hospital after feeling severe chest pain due to the crash.
The Military Police were called to respond to the incident and upon arriving at the scene, the driver of one of the trucks reported that he was heading towards Pacaraima to Boa Vista, being towed by another truck. During the journey, the structure carrying the vehicle broke and the trailer being transported by the tow truck lost control.
Within a few meters, the vehicle collided with another trailer and then a rock on the shoulder. Both trucks were damaged.
The driver of the trailer that was being towed required medium assistance, as he felt a lot of pain in his chest caused by hitting the steering wheel and panel of the trailer. He was taken to Pacaraima Hospital by the Fire Department.
