Doctor involved in double murder must be separated from other inmates and receive psychological care | VGN

Doctor Bruno Gemilaki Dal Poz, 28 years old, accused of participating in the double murder, last Sunday (21.04), must be separated from other inmates and receive psychological care, according to the decision of judge João Zibordi, of the Second Court of Peixoto de Azevedo, in a custody hearing held this Wednesday (04/24).

The defense asked the doctor to be separated from the other inmates, as he was a provisional prisoner. The judge granted the request, based on article 84 of the Penal Execution Law (LEP), and ordered the competent Prison Unit to take the necessary measures to protect the rights of the person in custody.

The defense also argued problems with the doctor’s mental health. Given this, even without documents proving the mental health of the prisoner, the judge ordered the Prison Unit to provide adequate care and reinforce psychological support for the prisoner.

Still as stated in the decision, the defense requested access to the file that ordered the doctor’s arrest, however, the magistrate rejected the request, claiming that the request must be requested in the competent court.

Inquiry – Doctor Bruno Gemilaki Dal Poz graduated from Centro Universitário Uninorte, in Rio Branco, in 2020. The Regional Council of Medicine of Acre (CRM-AC) confirmed that Bruno was enrolled in the Acre system in February 2021. In March 2021, In the same year, registration was transferred to Mato Grosso and at the end of the month a secondary registration was opened in São Paulo.

In a statement, the Regional Council of Medicine (CRM-MT) reported that it had opened an investigation to investigate the conduct of doctor Bruno, as a result of news published in the press pointing to the doctor as one of the perpetrators of a double homicide.

“In view of this serious event, the CRM-MT ordered the opening of an investigation, respecting the principles of legality, broad defense and contradictory, as established by law. It is important to highlight that the Council maintains secrecy regarding any administrative procedure in progress”, says an excerpt from the note.

Understand the case – last Sunday (21), Bruno Gemilaki, his mother Inês Gemilaki, and his stepfather’s brother, Eder Gonçalves Rodrigues, armed, invaded a residence and killed two people, leaving a third injured. The double murder killed Pilson Pereira da Silva and Rui Luiz Bolgo.

Those involved were arrested this Tuesday (23). Eder Gonçalves Rodrigues, and his brother Márcio Ferreira Gonçalves, were arrested in a residence in Alta Floresta, and Inês and Bruno Gemilaki were arrested on a family rural property, located on BR-060, 180 km from Peixoto de Azevedo.
