Vocalist of the group Molejo, singer Anderson Leonardo died this Friday, the 26th, at the age of 51. He was being treated for inguinal cancer (in the groin region) and, after complications, he had been hospitalized for just over a month at Hospital Unimed, in Barra da Tijuca, in the West Zone of Rio. The confirmation was made by members of the band Molejo, who paid tribute on social media.

“Our warrior Anderson Leonardo fought bravely, but unfortunately was defeated by cancer. He will always be remembered by all his family, friends and his immense legion of fans, for his genius, strength and love of the stage and MOLEJO. His presence and joy were a light that illuminated the lives of everyone around him, and he will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Molejo singer resumed cancer treatment
Celebrities, such as Compadre Washington and Viviane Araújo, also left messages of regret and affection on social media.

The suffering is over… may God receive him on the other side of the life that continues”, commented presenter Geraldo Luís. “May God receive him, my friend! Make this sky happy because here is the longing It’s already hurting bad,” wrote Xanddy. “Rest in peace, my friend,” Buchecha said. “My condolences to all family and friends”, said Viviane Araújo.
