The month of April has already been busy for Game Pass subscribers, including interesting game launches, such as Another’s Crab Adventure and the unexpected city building hit Manor Lords. Nonetheless, It looks like Microsoft still had some tricks up its sleeve.
During the ID@Xbox event this Monday (29), developer Milky Mountain Studio took advantage of the spotlight to disclose that The Rewindera 2D adventure and thriller game based on Chinese folklore, arrives today on the subscription service.
The Rewinder arrives TODAY on Game Pass
The ID@Xbox event, as the name suggests, shows several indie games that will arrive on Xbox and PC, in addition to showing some titles that will arrive on Game Pass at launch.

Despite The Rewinder being a 2021 title, the news of arriving on the Xbox subscription service was a great fit at the showcase, as it shows the addition of yet another game to the April catalog.

As for the game, it is a 2D pixel art adventure that mixes different elements, such as puzzles, suspense and drama, as well as certain hints of horror due to the bizarre characterization of some characters. On Steam, the title has “extremely positive” reviews, accumulating 96% favorable reviews (and with great emphasis on the plot).
On the How Long to Beat website, the game is listed as lasting 5 hours, so it could be a good choice for those who want a short and intriguing campaign to complete.

The Rewinder can now be downloaded and played today, April 29th, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (unfortunately, no xCloud in the cloud this time).
