‘Leading Role’ Summary: Aurora receives unexpected visit from her father

Once at home, Lúcia tells her mother about her conflict with Aurora and the story of the accident. The villain is amazed at Rosário’s reaction and tells him that she is making up for lost time. Rosário couldn’t be happier when her daughter invites her to move in.

Gabriela enters the grocery store crying. Fred comes after her, worried, and asks her not to ruin the relationship they have as friends. The girl tells her to leave as she needs to be alone.

At the hospital, Aurora tells her best friend that it was her parents who found and brought Rosário to Portugal. Daniela talks about Aurora and Paulo’s closeness and asks her friend if she’s not at risk of getting too involved. She tells him that Paul is just a means to an end. At that moment, the doctor approaches and tells them that Júlio is still fragile and cannot receive visitors.

At the gym, Gabriela shows up to train. Fred is pleased to see her and asks her if they are okay, as he doesn’t want any hard feelings. The student nods and heads to training.

Aurora has just opened the door and is surprised to see Júlio. Her father comes in and tells her that he needed time to think. The actress wants to understand what is going on and Júlio tells her that he is on her side and will help her get Irene and Lúcia out of the theater.

In the rehearsal room, Joel auditions for the role of a beggar, but he is withdrawn and it doesn’t go well. Marcelo and Irene leave the room and, when they leave, Marina’s husband lets go and starts singing and dancing. Marcelo is satisfied with his performance.

Júlio explains to his daughter that he felt bad because he caught Irene and Marcelo tangled up. Aurora is in shock and her father even tells her that Irene staged her suicide and coma. Aurora is incredulous at her mother’s wickedness.

Irene goes to the hospital and is surprised when the doctor tells her that Júlio has already been discharged.
