UA group of people in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, Spain, managed to stop two men who had just robbed a jewelry store in the city, in broad daylight.
The moment was captured on video and shared on social media, where it is possible to see the two suspects trying to escape on a motorbike, when several members of the public stopped them, throwing them to the ground.
According to the newspaper El Mundo – and as seen in the video – the pair were still dressed in blue work clothes and helmets that covered their faces. They had backpacks full of stolen jewelry with them.
“Catch them, catch them!”, one of the people present at the scene is heard saying, at the same time as the two suspects were taken down.
National Police agents arrived at the scene at around 10:35 am, when the jewelry store’s alarm sounded. They then officially detained the robbers, who were being restrained by other people.
