Iulian Florescu, an artist born in Romania and resident in Braga for 20 years, will present the painting collection “Amor e Paz” at Casa dos Coimbras in Braga.
The artist Iulian Florescu will show 22 works framed in the environments of his memories, such as the charm of family comfort or the nostalgia of rurality, which converge with the peaceful atmosphere of Casa dos Coimbras, in Braga.Iulian Florescu has already participated in several exhibitions, but he found great appreciation for his work in London, England, where he has executed portraits of his clients, among other works. However, the artist confides that it was an ambition to exhibit at Casa dos Coimbras “because it is a very welcoming space”.
The inauguration will take place next Saturday, March 30th, at 5:30 pm, and will remain open until April 26th.
“I like to paint everything I see around me, from people on the street to still lifes. I also love portraits and monuments and I already had the opportunity to paint the Casa dos Coimbras”, says Iulian Florescu, highlighting that all of this can be seen in the “Love and Peace” exhibition.
The name of the collection, according to the artist, is easy to explain: “It’s everything we want and need: love and peace”.

“The time has come. I have known your work for many years and I know that this exhibition will add a lot of value to Café com Art, during the month of April”, says artistic curator, Santiago Belacqua.
