O OpenAI co-founder and CEO Sam Altman is one of the most recent figures to join the ranks of well-known technology leaders. Altman’s controversial departure and return to leadership of the company responsible for ChatGPT last year certainly helped to make the name known.
However, it seems that Altman has not ‘melted hearts’ among major investors and many seem to not really appreciate the OpenAI leader’s style.
“He likes to pretend he’s altruistic, but I’d like him to show his true intentions.”a venture capital investor told Business Insider. “He’s a megalomaniac. For the same reason I don’t trust Elon [Musk]I don’t trust a person whose ambitions are so clearly about themselves.”noted yet another investor.
Nevertheless, OpenAI is clearly one of the main companies operating in the Artificial Intelligence space and has relevant news to present in the coming months.
