“In the Shadow”, Prince Harry’s memoir, only arrived at bookstores this Tuesday, the 10th, but due to several leaks of information (and also to the three interviews granted by the Duke of Sussex), the most controversial content is already of the public domain. MAGG combed through the almost 500 pages of the biographical work, prepared by the “ghost writer” JR Moehringer, and found, over several pages, the obsession that, at a certain point, the prince has with his own sexual organ.

In 2011, Harry narrowly missed his brother’s wedding because he was in military training at the North Pole. There, due to the low temperatures, he suffers several burns caused by the cold. And it is on this topic that “Na Sombra” becomes, over almost 10 pages, a strange and embarrassing account of the prince’s penis.

“When I got home, I was horrified to see that I had the same type of burn on my private parts, and while my ears and cheeks were practically healed, the same wasn’t true downstairs. It was getting worse day by day.”

Harry says his penis “was a public issue”, in particular the question of whether he and William would be circumcised. Afterwards, he contradicts himself, saying that Diana had forbidden the procedure (which consists of removing the skin from the foreskin), but that it had actually been done to her.

“There were countless stories in books and newspapers (even in The New York Times) about Willy and I not being circumcised. Mama had forbidden it, they said, and while it was true that the likelihood of a It’s colder to get there than the uncircumcised, the stories weren’t true. I had my foreskin removed as a baby.”

The penis is once again the theme during William and Kate Middleton’s wedding ceremony at Westminster Abbey, where Lady Di’s funeral ceremonies took place. In one paragraph, Harry remembers his mother, and in the next he associates the moment with his own member.

After William and Kate’s wedding, Harry returns to the subject of the penis, which “was sometimes too sensitive, sometimes on the verge of being traumatized”. And the theme is once again associated with the memory of Princess Diana.

“I had been trying some home remedies, including one recommended by a friend. She advised me to apply Elizabeth Arden face cream. ‘My mother used to put it on her lips. Are you telling me to put it on my dick?’ . ‘You’ll see what works, Harry. Trust me’. I found a tube and, as soon as I opened it, the smell made me travel back in time. It was as if, suddenly, my mother was there beside me. Then , scooped out a dollop of cream and applied it… down there. To say it was ‘weird’ doesn’t do justice to what happened.”

What happened, Harry doesn’t tell, but the saga continues, this time in search of a doctor. With the help of a friend, he manages to go anonymously to a doctor’s office. “I showed him the dick, moisturized with Elizabeth Arden. He couldn’t see any problem,” Harry recounts in his memoir.

“I described to him the dysfunctions that progressively occurred. ”Everything is difficult, Doctor. Sitting. Walking’. Sex, I added, is out of the question. Worse, my dick felt like it was constantly having sex.”

Harry recalls that the doctor advised him “time” to cure the ailment. Then he returns to the topic of the penis yet again. He remembers how “difficult” it was to meet his ex-girlfriend, South African Chelsy Davy, at William’s wedding, and how he told her he was jealous.

“I needed to move on, to meet someone. Time, as the doctor predicted, fixed my dick. When would it do the same magic trick on my heart?”

“Na Sombra” arrived in bookstores this Tuesday, January 10th. Prince Harry’s memoir is a detailed account of his life, from childhood, the relationship with his parents, his brother, the death of his mother to failed relationships, including the numerous accusations he makes to the tabloid press, to the royal house , and also the relationship with Meghan Markle, which culminated in her removal from her position as a senior member of the British royal family.
