The businesswoman Mari Saad and the actor Romulo Arantes Neto Around 200 guests gathered this Saturday (19), to make the union official. Together since 2022, the couple held their wedding ceremony at the luxury resort Txai, in Itacaré, in the south of Bahia. On the guest list, names like Mari Gonzalez, Camila Coutinho, Mariana Goldfarb, Flávia Viana and more famous.
The groom entered the venue with his mother, Adriana Junqueirain a version of Can’t Help Falling in Love, by Elvis Presley.
Preta Gil, who is the ex-wife of Otávio Müller, the groom’s stepfather, sang the song Cheiro de Amor, by Maria Bethânia, which marked the bride’s march to the altar. Preta sang alongside her son, Fran Gil.
The bride’s look is designed by the gaucho Carlos Bacchi and this time, she chose not to do her own beauty to feel cared for and relax. Mari chose a bouquet with white calla flowers to match the dress.

According to Kurihara, the businesswoman requested a ceremony with light and timeless decor to enhance the resort’s sea view. The decoration featured white flowers such as orchids, carnations, alstroemeria and anthuriums.
In the reception area, the choice was more different, with an explosion of tropicality and Brazilianness, focusing on a mix of foliage with Adam’s rib, anthurium and white orchids.
“She also wanted fruits that valued the region’s culture, such as cocoa and coconuts, since Txai is a coconut farm,” he says. Local crafts were also a highlight, with raw clay vases, straws and basketry, arranged with beautiful wooden furniture and linen fabrics.
Bahia has a special meaning for Mari and Romulo. It was the place where he proposed, in September 2023. The place of the proposal was the same one chosen by the lovebirds to say yes.
