“The Queen of Persia”, in 30 chapters, conducted by director Leonardo Miranda’s teams, will talk about the trajectory of a young Jewish woman, Hadassah (Lorenn Rodrigues/Nathalia Florentino), who is intertwined with the future of an entire nation. Raised by her cousin Mordecai (André Bankoff), after the tragic loss of her parents, she lives a modest life in the city of Susa, adopting the name Ester to hide her Jewish roots.
Meanwhile, in the palace of King Xerxes (Carlo Porto), a series of tumultuous events culminates in the deposition of his ruthless wife, Améstris (Camila Rodrigues), leading him to search for a new queen among the most beautiful virgins in the kingdom.
When summons letters are distributed throughout the city, Esther is taken against her will to the king’s harem, where she will not only face the envy and contempt of some, but also find surprising support from others. However, her destiny will change completely after her first meeting with Xerxes.
