Actress Miriam Margolyes once again criticized adult fans of “Harry Potter”.

Last week, Professor Pomona Sprout in the films “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” (2002) and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” (2002) caused a sensation when she said that fans “got caught up” in the saga and did not evolve.

“I worry about ‘Harry Potter’ fans because they should have gotten over it by now. It was 25 years ago and it’s for kids,” he told New Zealand’s 1News.

The actress was also surprised by fans who told her they were planning Harry Potter themed weddings, saying she was wondering how ‘fun’ the wedding night would be.

The statements went viral and the actress was asked what she thought of the reaction and the debate generated.

“I’m not unhappy about it. I just think it’s for kids. And if they’ve become adults, then it’s time to move on from doing other things,” he told Australia’s ABC News Breakfast.

The actress acknowledged that Harry Potter is “a great saga” and “a beautiful set of films” that she was proud to be part of.

“But it was 25 years ago. Grow up”, he reinforced, inviting fans to read the works of Charles Dickens.
