Last Tuesday, March 19th, Ruy de Carvalho took to social media to congratulate a well-known Portuguese face, Herman José. The comedian turned 70 and the oldest active Portuguese actor made a point of marking the date with a special message.
Through FacebookRuy de Carvalho made a point of making it clear how much he appreciates Herman José, his “friend”. To celebrate the comedian’s 70th birthday, the actor published two photographs that highlight one of the many moments they spent together on television.

“My dear Herman José, I’m not going to say anything more that people don’t know. Besides what I like about you as a person, only you know how to make me laugh heartily. Have a great day, my friend. 70 years is a beautiful age. Congratulations”wrote Ruy de Carvalho, in the caption.
In the comments, messages congratulating Herman José multiplied, but also praising the two artists. “Two examples of human beings, a reference for our country”, “Two great gentlemen” It is “Great Portuguese artists”it reads.
