It was on social media that the actress announced the birth of Cardinal Madden
Cameron Diaz, 51, became a mother for the second time. In a post made on Instagram, the actress and singer Benji Madden, to whom she has been married since 2015, announced this Friday the birth of Cardinal Madden, the couple’s second child.
“We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden”, reads the publication, in which they say that the baby “is incredible and we are all so happy that he is here!”.
The artists also took advantage of the announcement to reveal that they will not publish any photographs of the baby “for the safety and privacy of the children”. But they guarantee: “he is very cute”.
Cameron and Benji, 45 years old and a member of the band Good Charlotte, are also parents to Raddix Madden, who was born in 2019.
The couple, who don’t usually make many public appearances, were in the news recently after the actress said, on the “Lipstick on the Rim” podcast, hosted by Molly Sims and Emese Gormley, that we should “normalize separate bedrooms”.
