“Mercenary, liar, viper and crazy”, says Gal Costa’s son about Wilma Petrillo

The legal dispute over Gal Costa’s inheritance gained another chapter with the broadcast, this Sunday (31), on Fantástico, of a report with the singer’s son, Gabriel Costa, and the singer’s widow, Wilma Petrillo — until now recognized as the only heirs of the artist who died in November 2022.

It was the first time that both agreed to speak to the press since the start of the dispute. Each in turn, Wilma and Gabriel exchanged barbs and accusations. She, for example, claims that he is being influenced by his girlfriend who is 30 years older, who would be the mother of the boy’s ex. He alleges that, just out of interest in sharing the assets, the businesswoman started calling herself his mother after Gal’s death, something she had never done before.

Gabriel claims that the romantic relationship between Wilma Petrillo and Gal Costa happened a long time ago and lasted a very short time. And since then, what they had was only professional. And Wilma, in the interview, stated that the assets left by Gal are very small, while the debts would be very large.

At the end of the report, Renata Ceribelli asks how the supposed widow defines herself. Referring to herself in the third person, she declares: “I think Wilma Petrillo is an extremely wonderful person.” And she adds: “she is a good person.”

Gabriel’s words to define the one who until recently he called “godmother” are not very encouraging: “Mercenary, liar, viper and crazy”.

For Wilma, her reputation for controversy is the result of other people’s envy. “This envy thing I have [no sentido de ‘eu enfrento’] many years ago.
