Maria Cerqueira Gomes reveals curiosity that involves her daughter… and television: “It’s funny”

Living outside of Portugal, Kika Cerqueira Gomes understood with the Portuguese community in France the impact of her mother’s work, Maria Cerqueira Gomeson the small screen.

“My daughter doesn’t watch television! It’s funny, because my daughter realized the impact of television, now, in Paris, on the Portuguese community. There are many people who come to her and talk about me. People who watch TVI. This makes me very happy, because it’s the way people have, when I’m far away, to be closer”, said the presenter of the program “Em Família”, recently, speaking to journalists.

“I think this is our role as television presenters and as television professionals”, added Maria Cerqueira Gomes.

Currently 20 years old, Kika Cerqueira Gomes, remember, is the result of the presenter’s old relationship with Gonçalo Gomes. The communicator is also the mother of João, five years old, born from a relationship that also ended with António Miguel Cardoso.
