After 15 years, Eliana leaves SBT: ‘New phase’ | Daniel Nascimento

SBT issued a statement this Monday afternoon (1st) to announce that Eliana will leave the broadcaster in June 2024. After 15 years at the company, the presenter decided to end her contract to pursue new professional challenges.

“Eliana decided it was time for a new phase with other professional challenges”, says a note issued by SBT.

“Both parties legitimately express their mutual gratitude and wish the best for the future. SBT also reinforces its affection and support for the presenter in whatever paths she intends to follow, and informs that the doors will always be open for her”, he added .

It is worth remembering that Eliana was hired by SBT in 1991 to lead children’s programs and left the broadcaster after seven years. She returned to the channel in 2009, in charge of a Sunday program.

Over the 15 years on air, Eliana’s program has interviewed some of the biggest celebrities in the world, such as Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, Xuxa Meneghel, Angélica, Hebe Camargo and much more.
