UAn elderly man has become an internet phenomenon in recent days after being ‘caught’ reading a ‘Baby Shark’ book to his great-granddaughter, without knowing the children’s song that went viral in 2016.
The video, shared by daughter Cristalena Potvin on TikTok, on March 24, already has around 11 million views, more than 6 thousand comments and 61 thousand likes.
In the caption of the footage, the American revealed that her father had never heard of ‘Baby Shark’ and admitted that the whole family laughed at the moment.
In the images you can hear the man reading “Daddy Shark. Do, do, do, do”, literally, without singing the well-known melody.
On the next page, the man repeats the phrase again as he did the first time, to the child’s shock (and laughter from the rest of the audience).
