Opening comes after Sesa announced the closure of spaces at Vitória Airport and the Federal University of Espírito Santo

After the testing stations for Covid-19 that operated at Vitória Airport and the Federal University of Espírito Santo (Ufes) were closed, the State Department of Health (Sesa) informed that the population will be able to carry out tests at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology (Ifes), in Cariacica, which opened this Thursday (21).

In a note, Sesa clarified that public service at the new location will be from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with 100 tests offered per day.
In addition to Ifes in Cariacica, people can also take the test to detect Covid-19 at the testing station at the Laranjeiras Terminal, in Serra, which remains in operation. It is worth clarifying that the exam is carried out using the rapid test, with results released in approximately 15 minutes. The diagnosis can also be made in municipal health units, emphasizes Sesa.
Regarding the reason for closing the testing station at Vitória Airport, a strategic location with a high flow of people, the state secretariat clarified that the management of the air terminal requested that the activities be closed.
