Aopen politics to young people, “contributing for participation to active and conscious in life in society”is one of the objectives of the Taking Politics to School initiative, a political literacy project that the Municipality of Leiria is promoting in the municipality’s secondary education establishments.

The first session took place this Friday, at Secundária Afonso Lopes Vieira and the next is scheduled for Tuesday, the 30th, at Escola Básica e Secundária Henrique Sommer, in Maceira. The project will arrive in Domingos Sequeira on the 7th of May, followed by Escola da Carreira, on the 15th of May, and Secundária Francisco Rodrigues Lobo, on the 23rd.
