Sport is one of the gateways to inclusion for people with disabilities (PWD) in society. Given this possibility, Arapiraca City Hall, through the Municipal Sports Secretariat (SMESP), will reinforce the idea in the Alagoano Championship final game, between ASA and CRB, at the Municipal Stadium, next Saturday (30).
According to the Secretary of Sport, Josenildo Souza, the action will take place during halftime of the match between ASA and CRB. Teachers and students with the most different types of disabilities will enter the field.
They will bring a message to the fans present at the Coaracy da Mata Fonseca Stadium, Fumeirão, in reference to International Down Syndrome Day, on March 21, and to all members of parasports.
A banner will be shown on the field with the phrase printed on it: “Inclusion is not just a word; It’s a commitment.”

Professor Rodolfo Calmon, from the Health and Quality of Life Management, responsible for adapted swimming classes, stated that people with Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, spinal cord injury (wheelchair user), visual impairment, among other disabilities, will participate in the action. .
