This request “contains 42 milestones and targets and represents an additional disbursement of 3,191 million euros” (gross value).
The fifth payment request covers milestones and targets relating to 13 reforms and 19 investments, which are included in 17 components of the plan.
To date, the value transferred by Brussels to Portugal is 7,772 million euros.
The PRR, which has an execution period until 2026, intends to implement a set of reforms and investments with a view to recovering economic growth.
In addition to having the objective of repairing the damage caused by covid-19, this plan also aims to support investments and generate jobs.
