Arapongas City Hall, through the Municipal Sports Department, announced this Tuesday (02), the “Giro Esportivo” with results obtained by athletes from Arapongas. After championships, municipal sporting events and parallel competitions, athletes from Arapongas spend a week full of activities.
Follow the summary of the main sporting events from March 25th to 31st:
– Capoeira
The Porto do Cais Capoeira Association represented the municipality of Arapongas, this Saturday (30), at the 3rd Interstate Capoeira Meeting, in the city of Tarabai/SP. On that occasion, the capoeira team won first place in the 14 to 16 years old category.
– Futsal
The men’s under 12 and 13 futsal teams were competing in another round of the Londrina Metropolitan League. The games took place on March 26th and 28th in the cities of Rolândia and Ibiporã. Check out the results:

– Handball
During the Paraná Adult Men’s Handball Championship, the Arapongas team achieved one victory and one defeat in the round. The stage took place in the municipality of Toledo, on March 30th and 31st. Highlight for athlete Yan Alves who won an individual award as a highlight of the match.
– Basketball
The students from the Colônia Esperança Basketball School, led by coach Viviane and professor Joceir, participated on March 27th (Wednesday) in a friendly game against Colégio São José in Apucarana. The Araponguense team won by the score of 28X04.
