From April 28, the company will resume the Beijing–Madrid-São Paulo and Beijing–Madrid-Havana routes, both with two roundtrip weekly frequencies, the official Chinese news agency Xinhua reported today.

These flights join the resumption of other routes to Europe and North America that Air China has been operating in recent months, in an effort to recover normality after the covid-19 pandemic, which kept the country’s borders practically closed during three years.

In addition to the recovery in Latin America, Air China also announced on Tuesday the opening of two new routes, from Beijing, one to Riyadh and the other to Dhaka.

The route to the capital of Saudi Arabia begins operating on May 6, with three weekly return flights, while the connection to the capital of Bangladesh will open in June, with four weekly flights.

Air China thus expands its flight network to a total of 452 routes, including 112 international and regional routes.
