At least seven capitals are without a vaccine against Covid-19. The bivalent vaccine ended up in Belém, São Luís, Recife, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

According to the current rules of the National Immunization Program, priority groups, which include people with comorbidities and healthcare professionals, for example, need to receive a booster dose every year. Anyone aged 60 or over; who is immunocompromised; Pregnant women or women who have just given birth should be vaccinated every six months.

The Ministry of Health delayed the purchase of new batches of the COVID vaccine and postponed the start of the vaccination campaign for priority groups from April to May. On the website, the Ministry informs that 12.5 million doses will arrive in two weeks.
