The Alagoinhas Health Department was one of those selected to represent the State of Bahia during the II ImunizaSUS Workshop at the XVIII CONASEMS Congress, from the 1st to the 3rd of July, in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.
The presentation is the result of the preparation of a scientific work discussing successful experiences in immunizing the population in Brazilian municipalities and was selected through the ImunizaSUS Platform. The list of selected works was published last Thursday (25).
The team formed by the Director of Health Surveillance Telma Pio, the coordinator of Epidemiological Surveillance Eliziane Oliveira and the Health Surveillance Technician João Teixeira, will represent, with the support of COSEMS, the municipality at the II National Immunization Workshop addressing the successful immunization experience against COVID-19 in the municipality of Alagoinhas-BA.
The workshop aims to bring together authors of Experiences of Strengthening Immunization Actions in Municipal Territories (experiences), indicated through the ImunizaSUS Platform (Platform), for a dialogue between municipalities across the country, in addition to the Federal District, about experiences of immunization actions immunization or combating low vaccination coverage.
