During this Friday’s SmackDown, a big confrontation and some matches were scheduled for next week’s program, heading to WrestleMania XL on April 6th and 7th.
This is everything that has already been announced for the next SmackDown, on March 22nd:
– Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will be face to face – The “Tribal Chief” and “American Nightmare” were left out of this week’s SmackDown, but will be face to face on next week’s. What will happen between them about two weeks before WrestleMania XL?
– Rey Mysterio vs Santos Escobar – The “Master of 619” is back and after another brawl between LWO and Legado Del Fantasma, he challenged his rival to a match on the next SmackDown. Will Rey Mysterio get a big win upon his return to the ring?
– Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs AOP (Akam & Rezar) (WrestleMania Tag Team Championship SmackDown Tournament) – These two teams have been in rivalry for a few months, and will face each other in the first round of the tournament that will define the candidates for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships in the WrestleMania XL Ladder Match. Which of these teams will advance to the next stage?
– Austin Theory & Grayson Waller vs The OC (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) (WrestleMania Tag Team Championship SmackDown Tournament) – These two teams will also face each other in the first round of the tournament that will define the candidates for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships in the WrestleMania XL Ladder Match. Which of these teams will advance to the next stage?
