In the images, captured on Saturday by a member of the public who, according to The Sun, was shopping in that store when he came across the couple. Kate Middleton wears a tracksuit and carries shopping bags, alongside Prince William, who appears in jeans and a cap. The couple strolls by the Windsor Farm Shop, in the United Kingdom.
“Kate looked happy and relaxed. They looked happy just to be able to go to a store. Kate looked relieved, like it was a success to go to a store. It seemed natural”, described the author of the video, quoted by the British newspaper.
It is the first time that the Princes of Wales have appeared together since last December, when they were photographed on a walk with other members of the British Royal Family. A fact that sparked several theories among internet users, who, in recent weeks, have been questioning Kate Middleton’s absence from public engagements, even after Kensington Palace reported that the 42-year-old Princess of Wales had been subjected undergoing abdominal surgery and is not expected to return to his royal duties before Easter.
Earlier this month, the news website TMZ published a photograph of Kate Middleton, who appeared wearing dark sunglasses, sitting in the passenger seat of a black Audi, next to her mother, who was behind the wheel. According to Sky News, the photograph was captured by unauthorized paparazzi.
Days later, the Princes of Wales marked Mother’s Day with the publication of an official photograph of Kate Middleton with her children. According to Kensington Palace, the photograph was taken by Prince William in Windsor. That same day, the news agencies Associated Press, Reuters and Agence France-Presse removed the respective image from circulation, claiming that the photograph had been manipulated.
Taking into account the news agencies’ decision, the Princess of Wales issued a statement in which she apologized for the “confusion with family photography”.
“Like many amateur photographers, I occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to apologize for any confusion that the family photo we shared yesterday caused,” Kate Middleton clarified in a statement on social media.
