JIt’s in the air 2024 edition of ‘Big Brother’. Cláudio Ramos launched another chapter in the history of this mythical reality show that has had an undeniable impact on Portuguese television yesterday, March 24th.
Throughout the night, the 20 competitors which now fill the ‘most watched house in the country’ again. Each week, one of them will take on the role of leader, a role that now has even more powers and, with that, more responsibilities.

In the studio, and directly from the 2023 edition, they are now Francisco Monteiro and Márcia Soares. The two are the resident commentators and will accompany Cláudio Ramos at all the galas.
After the participants were known, Cláudio was invited to take a ball from a glass jar, the color of which dictated who would compete in the leader’s race. Fábio Caçador managed to overcome the dynamics and thus reached the desired place. At this moment, the first big news arrived on the program.
Now, the leader will have the possibility to choose some allies to join him in the leader’s room, a privileged space in which strategies can be defined. Furthermore, the leader now has the right to a direct appointment (which is irreversible).
Appointed directly by the leader, Nelson Fernandes He was called to the confessional and there he learned that he would be entitled to one of these consequences: immunity, a direct appointment or entry into the leader’s room. Choosing randomly, Nélson received the bracelet that joined him to the group of allies of Fábio Caçador, the colleague who a few minutes earlier had nominated him.
Finally, in a single round of nominations, Daniel Pereira, Carolina Nunes, João Oliveira and André Silva They were at risk of going to the vote, and we will only know who the final group of nominees is in a special broadcast conducted this Monday night by Maria Botelho Moniz, right after ‘Jornal Nacional’.
