Filipa de Castro recalled the nightmare of her 10-year marriage with former footballer Beto Severo, with whom she has two children, and stated that the difficulties are not over yet. Now, Beto has a case against his children, Bruna, 23, and Tiago, 21.

“It was the great love of my life. I’ve had others, but that was the great love of my life”, Filipa began to say in interview with Manuel Luís Goucha this Wednesday, 24. The wedding, however, “It cost a lot” due to “jealousy”. “Either it was because I touched my hair, or it was my smile…”

“They were wars, because we had to leave, and it was teasing, because ‘you’re showing off’. I would go out and look at the ground, I would go to the beach and my eyes wouldn’t leave the sand, out of fear. I never looked to another person with ulterior motives”, he recalled. Still married, Filipa resorted to therapy but had to lie about it, saying that she was going to the gynecologist, declared the CMTV commentator.

The marriage “ended because I couldn’t take it anymore. I ran away with my children, far away, and I went to the airport, I couldn’t do that […] Bruna was six or seven years old, Tiago doesn’t remember. Bruna has many memories, she watched these wars.”

Now, the relationship between the father and the children is also difficult. “It remained the same until nine or 10 years ago. I can say that my children haven’t had a holiday with their father for more than nine or 10 years, they haven’t had a gift from their father, they haven’t had a hug.” The reason “is to get to me,” he said.

“Even today, the father filed a lawsuit against his children. My children are in court with a case brought by their father. I had to freeze my son Tiago’s enrollment due to lack of help. I’ve been carrying a house on my back for a year, alone. Bruna has a degree, my rich daughter,” she said, adding that she admires her ex-husband professionally and in other aspects of life. “I just can’t praise him as a father.” I never let my children speak in court against him, and I could, because he told Bruna: ‘Your mother left me, your mother is a prostitute’. But she took after her mother and faced her father.”

“I saw my children suffering many times. My son ended up waiting for his father to pick him up. It’s like, ‘I’m not here’. And then we opened social media and everyone is at the house in the Algarve, and the my children seeing that, and the tears falling. What does a mother do?”, he recalled.

After the divorce, Filipa had another long relationship, with Pedro Tabuada, with whom she became engaged, but gave up on the marriage. Beto also remade his life alongside Sandra Nunes, with whom he has two children.
