COME HERE! Anitta used social media this Wednesday (24) to reveal the complete tracklist for “Funk Generation”, an album entirely of Rio funk sung in three languages, English, Spanish and Portuguese, for the international market.
The repertoire consists of 15 tracks, including the already known “Funk Rave”, “Double Team”, with Bad Gyal and Brray, “Joga Pra Lua”, with Dennis and Pedro Sampaio, and “Mil Veces”.
The new ones are “Lose Ya Breath”, “Grip”, “Fria”, “Meme”, “Love in Common”, “Aceita”, “Savage Funk”, “Cria de Favela”, “Puta Cara”, “Sabana” and “Ahi”, with – amazingly – Sam Smith. A partnership with the British star, in the end, was not ruled out.

“Funk Generation” hits digital platforms next Friday (26). “It’s an album in which I celebrate my roots. This is where I express the power of Rio funk in each track – unique, danceable and sensual beats”, explained Anitta.
The singer also said she was “proud to work on a project about a genre that is unfairly stigmatized in Brazil, but which is gradually gaining worldwide recognition”.
