The directors of the Social Organizations (OSs) contracted by SES-GO met, on the afternoon of this Monday (25/03), with the Secretary of State for Health of Goiás, Rasível Santos, and other managers from the department, at the 1st Forum of 2024 Alignment. Directors of hospitals and polyclinics also participated.

The Goiás State Department of Health (SES-GO) currently has contracts with 13 OSs for the management of 30 health units, including hospitals and polyclinics. The global value of the contracts is R$3 billion/year. The contracts cover all items involved in the assistance provided to all users of the state health network in Goiás.

“This will be the first of the meetings that we intend to hold with the hospitals to discuss common agendas and advance the better provision of services to the people of Goiás“, explained Secretary Rasível Santos, reminding everyone of the Fiscal Recovery Regime of the Government of Goiás, the which requires attention to expenses, without compromising assistance to each of the people of Goiás.

Integration and deliveries
Marco Túlio, neurologist at SES-GO and Hugo’s doctor, presented the Angels Project, which developed the stroke care line at the hospital, implementing an evaluation, tomography and intervention circuit in an average time of six minutes. “It took 13 years to find the mechanisms to achieve this result, with the goal of reversing the consequences of stroke for hundreds of patients,” he explained.

The advancement of health regionalization with the state policy on Emergency Care defined by the department was another point of discussion. “We needed to implement integration and communication mechanisms to move forward together, in order to help organize the system, both for acute and chronic issues”, observed Rasível Santos.

The new Urgency and Emergency Network (RUE) policy, agreed with the municipalities, focuses on the patient and aims to reorganize the points of care, access and transport, observing the territory and regions, in order to reduce response time to the emergency room in Goiás.

SES-GO will hold a monthly forum with OSs to discuss and/or redefine assistance flows, optimizing resources and expanding services. “The objective is to reduce losses due to inefficiency, exchanging expertise and integrating the potential of each unit, to make deliveries that the population craves”, explained the head of the secretariat.
