Ministry of Health adopts single dose scheme for HPV vaccination in adolescents

Given the low adherence to HPV vaccination, especially the second dose, the Ministry of Health announced that immunization against the human papillomavirus will now be carried out in a single dose. According to data from the 2022 Census, around 24,800 boys and girls can benefit from the measure in Piracicaba (SP).
