Public hearing debates standardization of Health Department vaccination vehicles

A public hearing debated, this Friday (26), the standardization of vaccination vehicles. The objective is to guarantee equality for representatives of interested companies, aiming to analyze the characteristics of the car and broad competition.

The discussion sought to assist in the process of preparing the descriptive document that will serve as the basis for hiring the companies responsible for supplying the vaccination cars. The preparation of studies and technical terms for opening the bidding process are the next step.

Representatives from the technical area of ​​the Department of Health (SES-DF), interested companies and health professionals were present at the virtual meeting. Participants expressed their doubts and other points regarding the vehicles. Among the topics mentioned, questions about van lighting, internal partitions, presence of a freezer, minimum door height and load capacity were clarified.

“The audience opens up a space to listen to companies. This way, when the standardized description goes to the contest, all of them will be able to participate”, explained the head of the Health Technology Incorporation Advisory (Assitec) and president of the hearing board, Adriana Bueno.

The meeting, according to Bueno, allowed the SES-DF management to present the network’s needs, evaluating what is possible to meet or not meet the description, according to the presentation made by companies or society.

According to the manager of the SES-DF Cold Chain and part of the technical area of ​​the public hearing, Tereza Luiza Pereira, the vehicle will act as a mobile vaccination room, taking immunization to vulnerable locations. “It is an adapted van where there is an office to carry out screening and registration of the vaccine, in addition to the application, with a hand washing sink, bench for thermal boxes, and a cold room”, she detailed.

Vaccine Car

SES-DF’s itinerant project, the Vaccine Car, has completed more than 41 thousand doses administered since its creation, in 2022, until this month. Of this total, more than 17 thousand were against Covid-19.

When it emerged, the initiative supported the campaign during the pandemic, in Ceilândia. It was later replicated in other administrative regions, with actions in Planaltina, Gama, São Sebastião, Sol Nascente, Água Quente, Guará and Plano Piloto.
