Starting this Monday, the 29th, the Basic Health Units of Juazeiro do Norte – UBS’s will make the Influenza vaccine available to the population of all age groups, from six months of age.
Since March, the municipality began immunizing the priority group. More than 25 thousand doses have already been administered.
Now, under guidance from the State Department of Health, the vaccine will be expanded to reduce viral circulation during the seasonal period.
According to Ana Luiza Leite, Immunization coordinator, the objective is to achieve the greatest possible coverage. “The ideal is that there are no doses left, as each vaccine administered means that we have more people protected against the Influenza virus. We invite everyone to go to the nearest Health Unit”, she invites.
In addition to distribution at UBS’s, people from Juazeirense can update their vaccination card. Just go to the Dermatology Center, Vapt-Vupt or the Specialized Medical Care Service, SAME. Service takes place from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.
It is necessary to bring ID, CPF, vaccination card and SUS card.
