This occupation of vacation time covers five periods, from July 1st to August 30th, with activities between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm, at Escola Básica Dr. Francisco Cabrita and aims to support families who work during the holiday period. children.

The “Summer Holidays 2024” project is aimed at children in the 1st cycle of Basic Education, who study in the municipality of Albufeira, and whose parents are working without alternatives where they can leave their children safely during the period of school holidays. As such, the Municipality of Albufeira provides these children with a set of recreational and educational activities, ensuring support, fun for students and peace of mind for parents.

These children’s mornings begin with sporting activities, on the school grounds or at the beach, such as sup, surfing, capoeira, swimming, hip hop, basketball, football, acrobatic gymnastics and beach games, among others. In the afternoon there will be cinema, traditional games, plastic expression and visual arts, as well as pedagogical and cultural activities at both the Cerro do Ouro Educational Center and the Traffic School.

This holiday time occupation covers five periods, from July 1st to August 30th, with activities between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm and will take place at Escola Básica Dr. Francisco Cabrita.

The allocation of places will be done in order of registration, with the following periodization: 1st Period: 1st to 12th July; 2nd Period: 15th to 26th July; 3rd Period: July 29th to August 2nd (one week only); 4th Period: 5th to 16th August and 5th Period: 19th to 30th August.

The “Summer Holidays 2024” aims to occupy free time in a playful but responsible way, trying to ensure that children get the most out of the sporting and artistic activities that will be carried out.
