After 5-2 defeat over Swedenin a preparatory friendly for the Eurocup held in Guimarães, this Thursday, coach Roberto Martínez released eight players from the Portugal team to return to their clubs.

Portugal will return to the field on Tuesday to face Slovenia, at their opponent’s home, in another friendly preparation match.
For this match, Martínez will rotate the squad, as eight other players will join the group, including star Cristiano Ronaldo.
– We have eight arriving for the second game, it is important to work on different concepts. They are high-level players, who arrive with hunger and energy, I hope – said the Spanish coach to the Portuguese press.
