30 Years: Tunapapasmisto from the Polytechnic of Portalegre celebrates three decades of singing the Alentejo.

Last weekend, the Portalegre Polytechnic Campus was the scene of a memorable celebration: the 30th anniversary of Tunapapasmisto, the institute’s Mixed Tuna. This milestone not only brought together freshmen, current and former members of the tuna, but also their families, reaffirming the strong community spirit that has characterized it since its foundation in 1994.

Under the motto “singing with Alentejo in your voice”, the event was a vibrant tribute to tradition and continuity, demonstrating that, regardless of the passage of time, the essence, unity and bonds created between its members remain unshakable. The festival not only celebrated Tunapapasmisto’s three decades of existence, but also praised the Alentejo culture and roots that inspire its repertoire and identity.
