Atlanthia – Premium Pools is a luxury & wellness pool company, based in Póvoa de Varzim, with its eyes set on the world. Founded by local entrepreneurs Rui Vaz and Daniel Leal, this young company has achieved a prominent place in the swimming pool sector in Portugal due to its strong innovative approach and proximity to the consumer, through a strong investment in technology in all aspects of the business: from contact with the client, to project rendering, through modernization in construction and after-sales service, combining these components with a philosophy of sustainability and exclusivity

These measures have the clear objective of making thestomer experience unforgettable, while making the process more humane, faster and with better solutions. An example of this is the implementation of an application that will allow the customer to create their pool project in real time, using their smartphone’s camera. In this sense, an internal quality department is being developed to guarantee compliance with these steps, and carry out continuous monitoring with customers, with a view to improving service and after-sales support.

Atlanthia intends to reach the goal of one hundred projects in the year 2024, while aiming to expand the company’s human resources and infrastructure, currently counting on a headquarters in the heart of the city of Póvoa de Varzim, a considerable team of employees, suppliers and ongoing projects.

The objective for the future is the internationalization of the brand across borders, with a strong focus on Dubai, investing in the expansion of the company and its methods and products in the international market. Rui Vaz and Daniel Leal were present, at the beginning of March this year, at important events and fairs in the Middle East.

The most recent business trip of Atlanthia’s founders began at the fair Big 5 Construct Saudi, one of the world’s leading construction fairs that promotes the exchange of best practices and advanced technologies, through a diverse range of innovative products, cutting-edge technology and valuable industry insights. In addition to this, the Dubai International Wood and Wood Machinery Show had the presence of Atlanthia.

On this trip to the Middle East, Daniel Leal was received by the Ambassador of Portugal to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and Yemen, Dr. Nuno Mathias. Accompanied by the co-founders of ANAVI Group, he expressed Atlanthia’s desire to establish itself in the Middle East in the near future, through its innovative products, services and methods. The internationalization of the Portuguese brand is one of the next goals to be achieved, and this meeting proved to be decisive for this purpose.

The trip to the Middle East was also marked by several business meetings in Oman, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, in addition to visits to local suppliers, leaders in the swimming pool market.

The Middle East, in particular Dubai, attracts and promotes the growth of many businesses. With a thriving global market, its economy is now among the most diversified in the world, with oil representing less than 1% of GDP.

Alongside this business trip, Atlanthia launched its sound jingle, where the entire essence of the brand is reflected in an exotic and refreshing sound. In addition to this, the company’s slogan was also a new feature revealed at the beginning of this year.
