“Vidigueira Vinho” has already started! Three days to promote the best “nectars” from Alentejo and the world

Vidigueira Vinho has already started and for three days, Vidigueira will be the capital of Wine. The initiative aims above all to promote the wine sector in the municipality and the Alentejo region, where this product is a source of excellence and a generator of economic development.

The event also includes a fun component with names like Raquel Tavares, Los Romero or Matias Damásio taking to the stage at the party.

The Gastronomic Week, showcookings, wine tastings and pairings, musical shows and exhibition/sale of agri-food/craft products are also part of this event.

The highlight of the initiative is the “Wine Salon”. More than 40 producers, mostly from Alentejo, but with representation from the Azores, Douro and Moldova, are present at this show, which takes place this weekend from the 29th to the 31st of March.

Integrated into the strategy to promote and enhance the municipality’s wine sector, the event has a program that integrates a wide range of activities that include, among others, Commented Tastings of Wines from Douro, Azores, Talha de Vidigueira, Moldova and Georgia.

In charge of Chefs João Mourato, Vitor Caos and João Engana, there are Showcookings that aim to promote and enhance our products and gastronomy in pairings with Ricardo Monteiro and Ricardo Silva.
