The Fiat 600 Portugal group will hold, on April 6th (Saturday) in Porto, a new meeting that celebrates the iconic model of the Italian brand.
The program will begin at the entrance to the Palácio do Freixo Gardens from 9:30 am, followed by a tour that will cover some of the most iconic places in Cidade Invicta, and which will lead to the final destination in Campanhã, where there will also be the possibility of lunch for participants. Several owners and enthusiasts of the mythical Fiat 600 model will participate in this event, coming from the north to the south of the country.
The Fiat 600 Portugal group was created, spontaneously and completely informally, by a group of owners and enthusiasts of this model, currently counting on various members from all over the country, constituting a group of people passionate about this icon, without any pretensions, and just with the interest of promoting the model among its lovers and helping current and future owners with its restorations and maintenance.
One of the most mythical icons in the history of the automobile, with a special impact in our country, where in the 60s and 70s it was one of the most present cars on our roads, the Fiat 600 was even produced in Portuguese lands, at the SOMAVE factory in Vendas Novas, from 1964 onwards (with 9576 units built until 1971).
