The solidarity walk in favor of Porta Solidária – social center of the parish of Senhora da Conceição, Marquês do Pombal square, Porto, takes place on April 21st, during the celebrations of the 45th anniversary of the 666 group of Caldas das Taipas.
This walk will be 4km long, starting at the Taipas scout headquarters, next to the main church of Caldas das Taipas, with departure scheduled for 9:45 am and will pass through several places in the village where camps for the group’s anniversary have already taken place.
Participation is free, however, it is encouraged with the compensation of food/essential goodswhich will revert to the parish of Senhora da Conceição, where the former scout of the group, Fr. Rubéns Marques He is currently a parish priest.
This is another of the group’s initiatives, which also aims to raise awareness among the population about adopting healthy lifestyles as a way of promoting health, holding moments of community interaction and, on the other hand, stimulating the spirit of solidarity in each one of us.
