The Municipality of Ponte de Lima, together with the Professional School of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ponte de Lima, will host a conference on “Inclusive Education”, under the guidance of professor David Rodrigues. It will take place on April 13th at the Municipal Auditorium of Ponte de Lima, between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm.

This conference is held within the scope of the Educational Project “Ensuring conditions that favor inclusion, the educational and human success of each and every student” and the “Recover including” action and aims to contribute to the development of inclusive educational practices that reinforce the construction of an inclusive school culture.

Taking advantage of the date of the event, David Rodrigues was challenged to combine the theme of Inclusive Education with the values of April, integrating the conference into the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of April 25, 1974.

The conference will be divided into three parts: oral presentation, working groups and conclusions and is aimed at teachers from schools associated with the Training and Innovation Center for Education Professionals at the Schools of Alto Lima and Paredes de Coura (CENFIPE): pre-school education -school, 1st cycle, 2nd cycle, 3rd cycle, secondary and special education.

Professor David Rodrigues has been a National Education Advisor since 2015, an internationally recognized lecturer and author in the area of inclusion and educational innovation.
