The Academic Association of the University of Algarve (AAUAlg) announces that the official presentation of the poster for the 37th Algarve Academic Week will take place this Thursday, April 4th, at the Penha Open Amphitheater, in Faro, from 7pm to 2am during the Academic Arraial.
The Algarve Academic Week is one of the most anticipated events of the year and is known for being the biggest student festival south of the Tagus. This year, the 37th edition will take place from April 25th to May 4th, transforming Faro, once again, into Wonderland. It is at Arraial Académico that the unveiling of the long-awaited official poster for the 37th Algarve Academic Week will take place, which promises to surprise everyone present.
This poster is the result of the work of the Academic Week Organizing Committee (COSA), which strived to ensure a captivating and diverse program, capable of involving the entire academic community. In addition to the revelation, the Arraial Académico program includes a series of unmissable activities.
From 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, there will be the Opening Cocktail with the gathering “As Vozes da Academia ao Longo da História”, a moment that takes us back to the beginnings of the Algarve Academic Week, with guests Filipe Santos (pioneer of university sports at the University of Algarve), Ângela Galvão (Students Association of the Polytechnic Institute of Faro) and João Ginga (Canudo editorial director), moderated by the talented members of In Versus, namely, João Catarino.
From 10pm onwards, the stage will be dominated by exciting performances by Real Tuna Infantina, Feminis Ferventis, Versus Tuna and DJ MrKool, guaranteeing a night full of music and entertainment for everyone present. We invite the entire community to participate in this memorable night and witness the reveal of the official poster for the 37th Algarve Academic Week. Entry is free and AAUALg looks forward to welcoming everyone to celebrate this special occasion.
