In Portalegre, the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April count, tomorrow, Thursday, with several initiatives, which begin right away, with the raising of the flag, in the Town Hall.
However, the vice-president of the Chamber Laura Galão, adds that to mark this date “a vast program” was prepared that goes beyond this day, “from music, theater, with productions from the Center for Performing Arts, and photography exhibitions video and drawing, which will be presented at the Solemn Session”.
“A round table that brings to discussion the poet José Régio, concerts with themes about the 25th of April and the concert debut of the tuna from Academia Sénior de Santa Clara”, are other highlights of the program, adds Laura Galão.
Portalegre also celebrating 50 years of April 25th. Tomorrow, after the flags are raised, there will be a musical performance followed by the Solemn Session of the Municipal Assembly. During the afternoon there will be several musical moments and also the opening of an exhibition alluding to the Carnation Revolution.
