The Municipal Library of Salvaterra de Magos and the Libraries of the Marinhais Culture Market and Espaço Jackson, in Glória do Ribatejo, all in this municipality in the district of Santarém, have new computer equipment for use by readers and the general public .

According to the municipality, in total, thirteen computers and accessories necessary for their use were distributed across the three libraries, with a view to supporting the digital transition and the development of citizens’ literacy skills.

The investment was 100% financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and made possible through the conclusion of a financing contract between GEPAC (Cultural Strategy, Planning and Assessment Office) and CIMLT with the aim of renewing IT equipment available to the public on the Lezíria do Tejo Library Network (RIBLT).

The total investment was more than 100 thousand euros for 128 new equipment at RIBLT.
