Abigail serves as a reimagined version of the film Dracula’s Daughter, from 1936, and directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. “A group of criminals kidnap a twelve-year-old ballerina, daughter of a powerful underworld man, to collect a ransom of US$50 million. In an isolated mansion, the kidnappers soon discover that they are not with a normal girl”, explains the plot.

11 – Cuckoo

  • World premiere date: May 3, 2024

With Hunter Schafer, from the series Euphoriain the main role, Cuckoo promises to be another great horror release in 2024. Directed by Tilman Singer, the film shows the trajectory of the character Gretchen, who moves with her family to a resort in Germany after her mother’s death. However, there, the young woman is chased by a mysterious woman and discovers a bizarre conspiracy.

10 – The Observers

  • World premiere date: June 7, 2024

Ishana Night Shyamalan, daughter of M. Night Shyamalan, makes her film debut in the film The Observers, which features Dakota Fanning in the cast. In the plot, we see a young artist trapped, alongside three strange people, in a forest in Ireland. After the group finds shelter, however, strange and mysterious creatures begin to pursue them.
