The film “follows a stop-motion animator who struggles to control her demons after the loss of her overbearing mother.” As she dives into her work, she realizes that her puppets and stories could be coming to life. Which is definitely not a good thing.

Late Night with the Devil is about to premiere worldwide, but has already been highly praised by those who had prior access to the project. With popular actress Sydney Sweeney in the central role, Immaculate tells the story of “Cecilia, a devout woman of faith, who is warmly welcomed into an illustrious convent in the Italian countryside, where she is offered a new role. “A young American is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church, but she encounters a darkness that makes her question her faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring evil incarnate to the surface,” reads the synopsis for The First Prophecy. Arkasha Stevenson directs the film.
12 – Abigail
- World premiere date: April 19, 2024
Abigail serves as a reimagined version of the film Dracula’s Daughter, from 1936, and directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. “A group of criminals kidnap a twelve-year-old ballerina, daughter of a powerful underworld man, to collect a ransom of US$50 million. In an isolated mansion, the kidnappers soon discover that they are not with a normal girl”, explains the plot.
11 – Cuckoo
- World premiere date: May 3, 2024
With Hunter Schafer, from the series Euphoriain the main role, Cuckoo promises to be another great horror release in 2024. Directed by Tilman Singer, the film shows the trajectory of the character Gretchen, who moves with her family to a resort in Germany after her mother’s death. However, there, the young woman is chased by a mysterious woman and discovers a bizarre conspiracy.
10 – The Observers
- World premiere date: June 7, 2024
Ishana Night Shyamalan, daughter of M. Night Shyamalan, makes her film debut in the film The Observers, which features Dakota Fanning in the cast. In the plot, we see a young artist trapped, alongside three strange people, in a forest in Ireland. After the group finds shelter, however, strange and mysterious creatures begin to pursue them.
9 – A Quiet Place: Day One

The long-awaited third film in the franchise A Quiet Place will also be featured in 2024. Called A Quiet Place: Day One, the project will show, as its title indicates, what happened on the first day of the alien invasion that changed the world forever. Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and must stop him before he kills again”, says the synopsis of the work, which has Nicolas Cage and Maika Monroe in the cast.
7 – Alien: Romulus

One of the biggest horror franchises in cinema history will be back in 2024. Although not much information has yet been revealed, Alien: Romulus will be directed by Fede Alvarez and should take place, within the chronology of Alien, between the first and second films. Apparently, the film will also have more practical effects, which should make longtime fans very happy.
6 – Ghosts Have Fun 2

How about a lighter horror, with touches of comedy? That’s exactly what it will bring Ghosts Have Fun 2, a long-awaited sequel to the original 1988 film. The film still has no major details revealed, but it will be directed, once again, by Tim Burton. Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Michael Keaton and Catherine O’Hara will be present in the team of actors and actresses.
5 – Saw 11

Directed by Leigh Whannell and starring Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner, Wolfman it will be yet another reinvention of a classic cinema and Universal Pictures monster for modern times.
