Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga receives a new trailer that delves into the origins of the iconic character. This Warner Bros. film Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, directed by George Miller, the prequel aims to provide an action-packed journey into the dystopian world of Mad Max.
Starring Anya Taylor-Joy in the lead role alongside Chris Hemsworth, the trailer shows Furiosa’s tumultuous journey from the Green Place of Many Mothers to the hands of the terrible Warlord Dementus. As she travels through the dangerous Wasteland and finds the Citadel ruled by The Immortan Joe, Furiosa must face numerous challenges in her attempt to find her way back home.
George Miller, the mastermind behind the Mad Max franchise, returns to direct the film, which hopes to shed light on the origins of this iconic character. Co-written by Miller and Nico Lathouris, the film features composer Tom Holkenborg and visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson.
Taylor-Joy and Hemsworth are joined by Alyla Browne and Tom Burke, who complete the cast. Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga is set to hit theaters on May 24, 2024, with an international release starting on May 22, 2024.
