The series ‘Harry Potter’ is, without a doubt, one of the most anticipated in the coming years. The boy wizard’s legion of fans longs to return to the magical world that enchanted them for so long.

However, the actress Miriam Margolyeswho plays Professor Sprout in the film saga, sparked controversy when she criticized adults who are still obsessed with the films.

At the time, she told 1News that fans should have gotten over the franchise by now. “You know, it was 25 years ago and it’s for kids. I think it’s for children. But they get stuck in it.”.

After that, the actress suffered a series of online attacks, being labeled a frustrated and unhappy person for worrying about what the public likes or doesn’t like.

In a new interview, this time for the ABC News Breakfast, one of the presenters made a joke by wearing a Hufflepuff scarf, one of the franchise’s houses, so she responded to the criticism, saying:

“I’m not unhappy about it. ‘Harry Potter‘ is a fantastic saga, but if you’re already a family man, it’s time to move on. It’s time to grow up.”

“I’m proud to have done this, but you’ve grown… Read [Charles] Dickens.”

In the first interview, Margolyes also recognized the importance of the series, but believes it is time to move on.

“I do cameos and people say, ‘I’m having a Harry Potter-themed wedding,’ and I think, oh my God, what’s their first night going to be like? I can’t even think about it. Harry Potter is wonderful, I’m very grateful for that. But it’s over. That’s what I think.”
